Fraser Speirs on iPhone Apps (you bet... music apps are coming!)

Here is a good comment on the recent launch of Apple's iPhone SDK. You bet we will see MUSIC and RADIO apps on iPhones and iPods soon - and THAT will be another EndOfControl factor for the music industry ;)
Fraser Speirs – iPhone Apps Have to Pay Their Way.  The nugget:

"I’ll repeat that, in case you’re still not getting it: the most popular portable music device in the world, the one everyone has, the default choice, the cultural icon, the device which Apple sells millions of each quarter, the device which has previously been closed off to all but Capcom PopCap, EA and Nike now has an SDK...."

Radio2 Jobs_iphone Radio Guru Mark Ramsey has a good comment on a similar angle, here, saying:   "New iPods will be even closer radio substitutes"  - now THAT is something for my radio industry readers to think about. Radio2.0 is approaching quickly. See my latest presentation here.
