Well, I think Apple's step to do this rental thing with the movie industry, is the first step to change the itunes system to a subscription model for music. They are working on a subscription model I am sure. But labels and Apple still fight for the biggest part of the cake. It's just about the money...
I can't believe that Steve still thinks "people want to own music".
