I am so happy to have noticed the little Google Adwords advert for mediafuturist.com, and in particular this page on the future of advertising, branding and marketing. I have noticed also how various and sundry online marketers brand themselves, and it sure seems that a pic of oneself is imperative, or at least that's what one might think at first what with all the pix that each and every Internet-based business entity, i.e., person, throws up on homepages and weblogs and whatnot. But I'm wondering if that really is a central tactic to branding. Not that I know any better, that is, a better method of branding. I guess people want to know what you look like, at least when you are a lone individual just looking to make a mark in the virtual corridors of the Net, that cyber sea, all those grains of sand . . . but I'm just gonna start out with Chaos Chasm myself, and see how that goes.
