Lefsetz Letter: McGuinness’ Idiocy (policing the Internet to keep the labels in the money?)

Finally, Bob Lefsetz weighs in on Paul Mc Guinness "internet police state" speech at midem 2008: Lefsetz Letter � Blog Archive � McGuinness’ Idiocy.

He sums it up pretty well:

re: "finally"... Lefsetz wrote the linked piece immediately after McGuinness's MIDEM speech back in January. Lefsetz has another column, about McGuinness' Hong Kong speech, this week. The new McG speech has some howler lines about how the big music companies are now leading the way to the future and it is the tech companies who are the dinosaurs.
