Worried about Privacy? Facebook? Watch this video...

Good food for thought: Video: does what happens in the Facebook stay in the Facebook?

I do think Privacy is one of the biggest issues for the future of Media and Advertising, but then again - would we rather be disconnected and dumb Mass Media consumers, again?

The cool thing is that you don't need to be on Facebook (like I'm not, couldn't agree with their TOS) to be connected.

It is important - now rather than later - that we are against this new web 2.0 services that try to make you sign stupid TOS. There are alternatives - good alternatives. The web wants - heck it needs - to be free. But you - the users - should have their privacy and freedom granted. Don't give up on that.

I think it is amusing that many of the same people that worry about privacy on Facebook carry a device which not only allows the government to know who they are talking to and what they are talking about, but also tracks their location in real-time just in case the government needs to round them up on short notice.

It is called a cell phone.
