Kyte.tv video comment on the Youtube disaster (forced to remove music from videos)

Youtube is removing unlicensed (i.e. ... all!) music from user-generated videos. Wow. See my previous post. Here is what I think about that:

I agree Gerd, compensation not control.

Wondering how Google is searching and validating unlicensed music before they remove it and how long it will take for Youtubers to counteract this measure.

Limiting creativity will not go over well with Youtubers, it is most likely the first stage in a new service offering from Google - AudioSwap part 2 ?

I understand this is a horrible situation. Fortunatelly I´ve found RedPanal.com, which is a real music 2.0 network/website (in spanish by now), where you can find a full free licenced music & sound library. All the files uploaded at this site seems to be under a Creative Commons license so you can use them for any purpose as long as you recognize the license and the author. I´ve been testing it and there are really large amounts of good music! It works as a social network for creating and composing music between the community users, working in colaboration in the same musical pieces, etc.
You should give it a try, for this is a great tool for music in videos.
