My friend and fellow thinker, digerati, disruptor and blogger Jonathan Marks recently egged me on to record a few ad-hoc white board sessions at his house in Amsterdam, and so... here are the first 2 editions, below. We are cheekily calling them White Board Wisdoms ;) and hope to crank out a lot more of them. Jonathan Marks is a great video and audio producer, expert on Radio2.0 and the changes that are brought about by new technologies, and blogs about a lot of very interesting stuff here.  We hope you enjoy these videos - and spread the word!

It took the record labels only 10 years to give people what they want: unprotected digital music. All 4 majors are now moving forward with MP3s, and DRM IS TOAST. The video dissects some of the underlying issues, and talks about what's up in 2008... Btw: I used TubeMogul for these uploads to 5 or 6 sites... worked well!

Using the "Duck & Cover" U.S. civil defense propaganda movie from the '50s as a backdrop, Gerd points out some funny similarities...

Gerd Leonhard, Music Futurist: 2007 Predictions

I could no longer resist using my new imac with the build-in isight camera and quick-time pro, so I made this video that shows me pontificating next to my powerpoint slides...  Revver made it easy to upload so that's what I used (Youtube rejected it due to its length [28mins], and Google Video is still processing it ;).  Update: it's now live on Google, too. Update: the Google video quality is not good, for some reason - stick with the Revver version!!
